Day 29A


Weight:  255.0 pounds

20 minutes on treadmill with 5 minute cool down at 3.2 mph - 1.25 mile!
50 minutes on weights

My weight is up BUT I am down 1 pants size!

Missed the gym on Friday - running errands ran very late & the gym closed at 6 :-(

We had a 75th birthday party for my mother-in-law this weekend (TOO MUCH FOOD).

Back to the routine!  Moving forward!

Day 22A


Weight:  248.2 pounds

20 minutes on treadmill with 5 minute cool down at 3.0 mph - 1 mile!
50 minutes on weights

Down 1.6 pounds!
Time on treadmill down 5 minutes, BUT I have upped my speed and the distance is further!  I am progressing!  As for weights, reps are continuing some higher weights, again, I am progressing!
New photo next week - will mark the end of 4 weeks of WORK at the gym!

So, I have finished my 3rd week at the gym!  I am proud of myself for NOT making a single excuse to not go!  Here is to a long relationship with my gym!

Took all the "measurements" today - will do them again in a month to see how I am doing!  The "step" test killed the front of my legs!  Hopefully when I have to do it in another month - I will be in better shape!

Day 15A

25 minutes on treadmill with 5 minute cool down
60 minutes on weight circuit (bands & free weights)

Shoulder still hurting, so we used bands & free weights and worked around the sore shoulder!

I am up to just over 1 mile in 25 minutes (2.5 mph), tomorrow trainer wants me to start 30 minutes and then begin an increase in speed by .1 mph, eventually getting to a jog/run.

Weight didn't change from last week BUT that's great considering I was travelling for 3 days this week, eating fast food & munching while we drove!  I figure, I lost what I gained!  Next weigh-in will tell!

Many errands today (ate McDonalds!  not much choice, was late & needed to eat).

Got to see grand babies!!  I am a happy grandma!  Picked up some hand weights (3 pound) and a new water bottle (one without a straw).  Got 20 pounds of chicken breast (boneless skinless) to divvy up and freeze and got the hubby some new oven mitts & pot holders!  Now off to bed!

Busy day today!

Packed for my trip, I leave tomorrow morning before 8am!  Can not wait to see my son!

Cleaning out car (mind you it was over 90 degrees out today) HOT HOT HOT
Mowing the back lawn

Only cardio today!  Workouts will be all mine until I get back in town on Wednesday!  Fred gave me some exercises I can do at the hotel!  I will be weighing in on Sunday (a day early) this week as I will NOT be here on Monday, I will be in NC!

Hope to be able to log-in to blog while I am away, but IF not, I will catch up when I return home!  Can't wait to see Andrew!

I upped the weight on a couple of the machines today, shoulder is still tender though, and kept the reps at 10, will be increasing next week.  Tomorrow will be cardio only and then I am off to North Carolina!
